About Matthew Keane MSPAS, PA-C
My name is Matthew Keane, PA-C, and I have been practicing medicine as a Physician Assistant for over 15 years. I earned my Master’s Degree from Western University of Health Sciences and my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from California State University, San Bernardino, an academic background that shaped both my clinical reasoning and my patient-centered approach to care.
Throughout my career, I have worked in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Primary Care, gaining broad clinical experience across a wide range of medical conditions. I also proudly served as a Captain in the California Army National Guard, where I worked as a Physician Assistant caring for service members and their families. That experience reinforced the values of leadership, service, and accountability that I bring to my medical practice every day.
I have lived in the Coachella Valley for over 40 years, and I am deeply committed to serving this community. I am married and the proud father of three boys, which gives me a personal appreciation for the importance of family, prevention, and long-term health.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy movies, reading, working out, the beach, great food, and traveling. These interests help me stay balanced and connected to the same life demands my patients face.
My goal in direct primary care is simple: to be a true advocate for my patients’ health and wellness. I believe healthcare works best when there is time to listen, build relationships, and focus on prevention—not just treatment. I am honored to partner with my patients and guide them toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
