A Letter from Matthew
Having called Coachella Valley home for more than 40 years, this community is more than where I practice medicine—it’s where I grew up, built my life, and developed a deep commitment to the people who live here.
Through my years working in traditional, high-volume healthcare, I came to recognize how difficult it can be to build meaningful patient-provider relationships when time is limited. I wanted to create a different healthcare experience—one where patients feel heard, understood, and genuinely connected to their provider.
A Personalized Approach to Primary Care
I founded WellHealthe to bring that vision to the Coachella Valley. Through the Direct Primary Care model, I’m able to spend more time with my patients, provide greater access and continuity, and develop relationships that extend beyond a brief office visit.
My goal is to understand not only your medical history, but also your lifestyle, priorities, and personal health goals so we can make better decisions about your health together. My approach to Lifestyle Medicine and Health Optimization allows us to go beyond treating symptoms and focus on prevention, healthy aging, and the factors that influence your long-term well-being.
After more than four decades in the Coachella Valley, I’m proud to care for the community that has been my home for most of my life.
